2006 CLIFF LEDE STAG'S LEAP DISTRICT CABERNET SAUVIGNON "Creamy and seductive, with ripe currant, mocha, mineral and espresso notes that are full-bodied, deep and complex. Persistent and long on the finish, ending with excellent structure. Drink now through 2018." -92 Points Wine Spectator
"The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap is a nearly 9,000-case cuvee that is one of the best Cabernet Sauvignons one can buy at this price point, particularly given the Shangri-La prices of Napa. Deep ruby/purple with lots of red and black currants as well as hints of spring flowers and bay leaf, the wine is medium-bodied, with nothing out of place - acidity, wood, tannin, or alcohol. It is a supple, stylish wine that doesn't cheat the consumer on flavor or complexity. It should evolve for at least 15 or so years." -91 Points Robert Parker
2005 LES CRETES COTEAU LA TOUR "The single-vineyard 2005 Coteau La Tour is 100% Syrah that spent nine months in 300-liter French oak barrels. This polished, full-bodied red is loaded with ripe dark fruit, sweet spices, toasted oak and earthiness. Made in a full-bodied style, the wine offers outstanding balance, particularly in the way the tannins are beautifully folded into the layers of fruit. This is a terrific effort. The vintage for this wine is indicated by the last two digits in the lot number: L 12-A05. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015." -92 points- Antonio Galloni- Wine Advocate
2005 ALTITUDE 1050 MALBEC "The 2005 Altitude is a spectacular and ripe wine that boasts a ripe red fruit elegance and a nice, rounded finish. What most excites me about this wine is that the body is medium to full and not only does it work well with many big meals, but this is the kind of wine that you can drink by itself." Altitude 1050 is made at Monteviejo, one of the leading estates in Argentina. This was a project that was initiated by several talented Bordeaux winemakers and chateau owners, including Catherine Pere-Verge from Chateau Montviel in Pomerol and Michel Rolland, the world-famous oenologist.
